So, has anyone else seen the design for new currency? I definitely think it's got a love / hate following. Personally, I like it and this article points out some of the convient aspects that would come about with new bills. Plus, I like the colors and let's be honest, our currency is so dirty and flimsy and boring compared to the rest of the world's. Imagine holding slick shiny colorful bills! Perhaps they could spur the economy because people would want to spend their fun money (Wishful thinking). What do you think? The link above shows more of the colors / designs.

ReplyDeletethey look cool, I like the vertical layout. american money is really boring and annoying, it's so hard to see what you have at a glance. Australia has had plastic notes for so long (most of my life) that whenever I go overseas I find paper money so gross... sometimes the older notes feel like an old tissue! eww. our money is also colour-coded and sized according to denomination, which makes it so easy to deal with.
