Ravishing Red

Ok I am seriosuly on board for the red blazer trend! I think it is the perfect way to add a pop of color to an outfit while still donning a classic staple piece. It would be so sweet for Valentines Day or in the summer with some white matchstick jeans. Or for the very bold, smear on some red lipstick for exta va-va-va voom! Doesn't the first girl look so Parisian chic? Love her!

So it seems because of Apple releasing Beatles music on Itunes, (Hallelujah!) it is Beatles mania all over again. I am not complaining whatsoever since I have been a fan since my dad introduced me at the ripe age of 7 to 60's rock and roll and I haven't looked back since. So I decided that this post is dedicated to great music, which in my opinion is mostly british pop and rock. On a related note, I saw the movie Pirate Radio this week and if you like this post, you will love that movie. Love Peace and Rock and Roll Baby.

Fashion Tights

Ok so I am totally on the fence about colored tights because let's be honest unless you have mile high matchstick legs they can look.. well.. rough. Not to mention they are sometimes hard to pull of on a Sunday afternoon unless you work at Urban Outfitters. That said I cannot help but be obsessed with fashion pictures of them. What do you guys think of colored tights? I am thinking I could pull of a dark navy blue or dark grey. Happy Monday!

Country Chic

Hello all! Sorry for the lapse in posts I was away on a family vacation in Tennessee with no access to internet! I always find country chic photos and styles like this absolutely beautiful but completely unrealistic. Real "country" people do not dress like this nor do they even close to being chic; think more Wal-Mart and shopping mall couture. However, one can dream of dressing like this in a rural environment without looking like a fish out of water! Perhaps things like this are better lent for photo editorials rather than everyday life. Nonetheless the trip brought out my longing for hunter boots and plaid and horseback riding and apple cider. Now if only the weather would follow suite! Photos courtesy of Slices of Beauty.

Good morning all! I am FINALLY moved in! However, there is still the unpacking / decorating which is going to take some time over the next few days! That said, I am so in love with my apartment it's not even funny! I am so excited to post pics when all is said and done. Finally! A Chic Camera Bag!

I have always been on the hunt for a cute / chic camera bag that could function as a purse too. It is such a pain on vacation to lug around a giant Nikon bag but I hate wrapping up my expensive Nikon and lenses in scarfs and shoving them in my purse! I found these on one of my favorite sites and it comes in four colors! My favorite is the nautical blue :)
