I was shopping for my 4th of July party today and it made me remember how awesome Sparklers are! It brings back such fun memories and they're fun for adults too :) There is never such thing as too much sparkle in your life.

I went for a run this morning along Michigan Ave and so many people are out about this summer weekend! My favorite site? All the little kids playing in the Millennium Park fountains. It always makes me smile. It also makes me want to be a kid in the summertime again! Why you ask? It is the only time in your life you truly look adorable in a swimsuit, can have a blast in one, and slip-n-slides anyone?
I love the idea of reusable grocery bags and I think it's a great way to stay green! Even better? These stylish produce bags with french fruits and veggies vocab! Tres chic and a great way to remember what produce you need! You won't even waste paper making a list! I found these on a new blog I am following, Je m'appelle and here is the Etsy shop where you can purchase them.

One of my favorite things about summer is wearing gorgeous sundresses. They work for almost every occasion and are usually pretty flattering on everyone. I came across the website modcloth which has an AMAZING collection of sundresses and they are very moderately priced. Here are some of my favorites and the best part? All of these dresses are under 100 bucks! Score!
I came across an awesome cooking website today called CHOW. On there was an awesome tutorial on how to make a perfect crêpe. No easy feat! Bon Appetit!
Hello lovely readers! If you are even still out there... As you can see I took bit of a break. It has been a rocky six weeks, to say the least, that involved a breakup, the passing of my pet, and work woes. Alas, I am finally back and feeling myself again. I have realized to some extent that it is the little things in our lives that distract us from the world or make us smile that are the keys to happiness. Therefore, I am back to blogging about things that make ME happy and of course spreading beauty, art, loveliness and fabulosity into the world. I hope you join me back on my journey and I am so excited to see what the rest of you have been up to!
My 20 year old cat passed away today and I am so sad. She had a stroke due to kidney failure and we had to put her down this morning. I have had her since I was three and I don't even remember life without her. She was the most sweet, loving cat in the world and I will miss her so much. This post is for anyone who lost a beloved pet and know the feeling of love and sadness as they move on without you.
